Can Scenic be frozen for longer shelf life?

Scenic has a 2-year shelf life from manufacturing date. An expiration date is labeled on the package. However, if you choose to freeze the food, please use an airtight container or ziploc style bags.

Scenic used to have a cheese flavor. Do you still have this flavor?

We are currently not producing a cheese-flavored food. But you can easily add a dry cheese powder to the pellet when it is dry or soaked! You can also dilute dry cheese powder with water and then soak the morsel in it.

This technique can be applied to other spices and flavors besides cheese!

Can I wean young birds with Scenic?

Yes! All of our foods can be soaked and are excellent for feeding and transitioning / weaning young birds. This feeding technique is good for picky or impaired birds as well. See Soft Food Protocol.

Do you have food for Quaker / Monk parrots?

Yes of course! Our foods have been tested with 67 different parrot species and meet all diet recommendations for major constituents, amino acids, minerals, and vitamins.

Scenic has also been fed to other species such as doves, toucans, kiwis, and mynahs with great success!

Choose a morsel size that complements the size and preference of your bird.

Is Scenic acceptable for Passover?

Yes! Scenic is Chametz-Free Kosher certified.

Is Scenic allergen-free?

Yes! Scenic is free from the following top food allergens:
